Our DEAR LITTLE bundle o'SOFTNESS & crimp !! Our little brown beauty (maybe silver). She's from great genes! Several Snowmass' lines: Inca Accoao Star, HBs' Condornar's ADONIS (her sire Kahlua's sire),& from dam Chloe.. Snowmass DEBEERS; HEMINGWAY. LEGACY of Bolivia's son METALLICA, Jewels De Lauca. Chloe's dam Kizzi's "WORLD CLASS Smoke Storm". And she's from so many colors such as silver and rose grey of Esterlino, Sir Lancelot (of Zorro and Snow White), CUMULUS, Carolina Smoke (grey/silver on both sides of parentage)! Chloe's Sire "Snowmass DE BEERS" (means "Of Diamonds") is a Snowmaster son from a Hemingway daughter, (so many CHAMPION lines)... also makes her seem blessed. Her very curly SOFTNESS makes you want to touch her "fine" crimp. We are so pleased to have this dark brown/?silver female! At first she was both light & medium BROWN. Now, after sheering, she looks a little like Snowmass Condornar, World Class Smoke Storms..., and Snowmaster's family lines (with Cumulus' & Sir Lancelot's dense soft fiber as well). She may have height if those long legs tell anything...she's gained weight fast and almost taller than Cotton's female cria (who was born FULL of the LONGEST fluffy crimped fiber that I've seen on a cria...like her Royal Fawn ancestry..but w the longest legs..still gaining height in 2016)! With Silvers and Rose Greys of Esterlino/Cumulus/Sir Lancelot, and those dense huacayas of her dam Kizzi's and Snowmass lines... Mia seems blessed with potential colors and SILVERS. I hadn't downloaded my camera since she was born! Our 3 new cria brought "TEARS of JOY!"
The biggest DIFFERENCE BETWEEN this little girl and Cotton's little girl is that Cotton's dam Nuera has the Royal FAWN (via Monte Carlo) additionally in her dam Nuera's line. But Chloe has had the dark rose grey son who won at VAOBA (indefinite grey), &a purest shimmering white son, and lots of silver in her lines! As well she has the De Beers/HEMINGWAY linage just as does Cottons cria Monte's Diamond Carla. With her Sire Kahlua bringing her the LEGACY OF BOLIVIA, and Snowmass' lines like: Snowmass Inca Accoyo Star, Snowmass Condornar, and more champions in his lineage, SHE HAD TO BE BEAUTIFUL! And check out Kahlua's sire as well. He, SNOWMASS Condornar's ADONIS, did very well in shows! She comes from many famous alpacas.
Very long legged cria! Breathing on her own immediately, born in the field in a few minutes, surrounded within moments by 3 other large females who all had their back to her in a circle. That's how I spotted her... as I was cleaning a stall and had just checked over her dam when she came to us. She was born quickly...walking quickly! She was nursing within 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. She was met by the other 2, not so small, crias. She ran & jumped around with both other crias...and is passing them in height.
